You will need to contact the State of Florida AND the county and/or city in which you are operating.

City of Panama City Beach
STRs are permitted in most "beach" locations, but some residential neighborhoods specifically prohibit STRs.

To register with the City of Panama City Beach and pay your 1% business tax receipt (BTR) , go here:

STRs are permitted anywhere within the city limits as long as an HOA does not specifically prohibit them (this typically applies only to residential condos, which are few in number).
